イングレス日本公式アカウントから素敵なお知らせが来ました。停止しているポータル申請を、期間・地域限定ですが、復活させる、というもの。
申請は優先審査対応の上、優秀申請AGにはInitioメダルのプレゼントも。

イングレス日本公式のアナウンスはこちら。
震災復興の意味合いも込めて、４月中旬から５月末まで、岩手県、宮城県、福島県の沿岸部エリア限定でポータル申請が復活します。
また4/24（日）には「Ingress: Initio Tohoku Mission」と銘打たれたイベントが開催されるとのこと。
Initioメダルゲットには、期間中のポータル申請で基準を満たすことと、24日のイベントの参加が条件。
また並行してWiller Travelとingressバスプランで提携、というのが要旨ですね。
実際のところ、地域限定で申請できるようにする、というのはどのようにするのか、とか、
ここでInitioメダル、というのは前のアップデートのInitioビーコン実装と関係あるのか、とか、
知りたいことは色々ですが、詳細は追って、ということなので、続報を待ちましょう。
けど・・・この発表と今日の提携ポータルのトラブルは関係あるんでしょうかね・・・？
