前の空港ポータルキードロップの記事で「ポータルキーは捨てちゃダメ！絶対！」という話が伝わりにくいかな、と思ったのでその話を。

このエントリで書いたのは以下です。
今はイングレスではポータルキーのばら撒きは「ダメ！絶対！」になってますので、空港でのキーばら撒きはやめましょう。
改めてみると書き方がちょっと良くないですね。ノリで書いてますけど禁止事項みたいに見えますね。
「ダメ！絶対」というよりは「非推奨」な感じです。NIA川島さんが去年こういう投稿をしています。（これを探していた）
文意的にはポータルキーのドロップアートとかはいいけど、帰り道にポトポト落とすのはやめてね、という感じでしょうか。
僕もこの記事を記憶で「イヤ！絶対！」に読み替えていたので、あんな書き方になってしまいました。
ここからは間接的な事象からの推測になりますが、アノマリー時のドロップアイテム残存時間の短縮もNIAがドロップアイテムを嫌がっていると思える１つ。
こちらはアイテム全般になりますが、残存時間短縮がアノマリーの負荷対策になる、というのはわかりやすいかと。
去年のMISSIONDAY新北ではこんなことが起こっています。
大量のキードロップでMISSIONDAYがミッションインポッシブルになったw、という話。
ラグが酷かったそうですね。
この記事では「これって膠着戦術として使えるんじゃ？」という推測を書いています。
推測：ドロップキーはデータが多い
結局ドロップキーはNianticのサーバに負担をかける、というのはほぼほぼ間違いない気がします。
単純に考えて、AGが持ってるキー「ポータルキーA」のingressでのデータの持ち方は、
ポータルキーA：AGのインベントリの中
みたいなデータになると思いますが、ドロップされたポータルキーは
物体：ポータルキーA
ドロップ日時：2016-1-1 0:00:01
緯度：このへん
経度：あのへん
というデータ構造になるはず。スキャナ上に表示させるためですが、行数だけで見ても多いですね。
そしてインベントリ内のキーはAGが「OPS」を押してからサーバに読みにいくのに対し、ドロップキーはその辺をウロウロしているAGが来る度、アプリがリフレッシュする度にサーバから読み込みます。
さらにポータルキーの種類は、他のアイテムより多い・・・。
ドロップされたVRLAなら、グラフィック＝VRLA、内容＝VRLAですが、ポータルキーはグラフィック＝ポータルキー、内容＝ポータルキーで渋谷駅、という風に他のアイテムに比べて多段な構造になるはず。
もともと他のアイテムをドロップしまくる人（PC1とか除くｗ）ってそんなに居ないのと、ポータルキーは場所に縛られるので、遠征組が撤退するときに不要になる、という点がこの問題に関連してるんでしょう。他のアイテムは持って帰りますし。
元々のイングレスのゲームデザインから起こった「あー、ここそうなっちゃうか」という漏れだと思います。
まぁどんなことでもあることですけど、イングレスをイングレスたらしめてる部分なので今更修正できない、と。
それを受けてのアイテム一括選択やリサイクルXM値のアップに繋がるんですね。パッチ的な対策で対応している感じです。
