スキャナを開いた時に表示されるマップとXM。そのXMが他のエージェントの場所を示しているって知ってました？
僕は気づいてませんでした。なるほど、ということで検証してみました。
XMの切れ目でエージェントの居場所が分かる!?
きっかけはこの記事。

「ingress女子」よつばさん（先日の君津MISSION DAYも和装のお姫様で参加されてましたねー）のインタビューで、女子がingressでプライバシーを守る方法で挙げられていた1つ。
（４）自宅でアプリを起動しない
－－自宅では遊ばないほうがいい？
「自分のXMのゲージが減少しているときにIngressを開くと、周辺に散らばっているXMを吸収します。すると、XMの欠け方でどのあたりにエージェントがいるかを予測できてしまいます。」
これについてこんなコメントをしました。
そしたらネットウォッチャーのおおつねまさふみさんから「「散らばったXMを誰かが吸い取った跡」は他エージェントにも見える。」というコメントを頂きました。
！！！
そういえば！
じゃぁ実際どうなのか検証してみました。
やり方は簡単。XM多そうな所で何方向を向いてスキャナのキャプチャを撮り、それをジックリ見てみました。
そして画像編集ソフトで「本来ポータル周りでXMが漂っているはずなのに、XMが無い場所をハイライト」した画像がこれです。
ああああ。ほんとだ。あんまり気にしてなかったけど確かにXMが欠けてる。
こりゃよつばさんの言うとおり自宅で立ち上げるとバレますね。
これは要注意。
