これだけポケモンGOが流行するとガセネタも出てくるんですね。ポケモンGOで大ブームを巻き起こした我らがNiantic,Inc.が次回作としてハリーポッターでゲームを作る、という話がまことしやかに伝搬されていましたが、すぐにガセと判明。

このガセネタが出てきた原因の１つは、署名サイトCare2で「ポケモンGOの次はハリーポッターを！」という署名が4.5万人近く集まっていること、
別途Nianticのシニアエンジニア、という触れ込みのMarcus Figueroaという架空人物が語ったとされる「引き合いは沢山あって、もしラッキーだったら２０１７年年初には次を出せるかもしれない」というインタビューにもあるようです。
やはりポケモンGO並のヒットが出てしまうと、火のない所に煙も立つんだなぁ・・・と、ちょっと感慨深く見てしまいました。
