これまたコミュニティで質問がよく出るingressのアイテム「ADA Refactor」「JARVIS Virus」の使い方です。
陣営で名前が分かれる唯一のアイテム
形は同じで色違いのアイテム、「ADA Refactor」と「JARVIS Virus」。効用は同じで「ポータルの陣営を変えてしまう」ことです。色によって使えるポータルが違います。
ADA Refactor
青色でお分かりのように、緑(Enlightend)のポータルを青に転換できるアイテムです。
JARVIS Virus
緑色なので、ADA Refactorの逆、青(Resistance)のポータルを緑に転換できるアイテム。
エージェントの陣営関係なく使える
色分けされているので一見ADA Refactor(青に転換)はレジスタンスエージェント、JARVIS Virus(緑に転換）はエンライテンドのエージェントしか使えさなそうな気もしますが、レジスタンスがJARVIS Virus、つまり自陣営ポータルを緑に、またエンライテンドがADA Refactorで緑ポータルを青にすることも出来ます。その理由は後で。
WeaponなのにOPSから使う武器
XMP BursterやUltra Strikeはポータルの近くで「長押し＞FIRE」で使いますが、この２つのアイテムはWeaponに分類されていますが右上の「OPS」からINVENTRY＞Weaponで選択して使います。
選択して「USE」を押したら地図画面に戻るので、対象のポータルを選択して「Confirm」を押すと使用できます。
レベル相応までのポータルでしか使えない
ポータルを転換するのに必要なのは、ポータルのレベルｘ1,000XM。エージェントのXM上限値はレベルx1,000+2,000XMなので、エージェントレベル＋２までのポータル・・・と思いきや、確かこれらのアイテムはXMが０になる場合は使えなかった気がしますので、そうするとエージェントレベル＋１まで。
エージェント間ではこのアイテムを縮めて「ADA」「JARVIS」「（２つまとめて）ウィルス」と言うことが多く、使ってポータルを転換することを「ひっくり返す」という人が多いです。ひっくり返す必要のあるポータルの多くは「硬くて壊せない」場合だと思うので、XM上限値の制限と合わせて考えるとやはりP7(Portal Level７以上）の適用が多く、そうするとA6(エージェントレベル６）以上でしか使えないということで、ローレベルの間は温存しておいたほうが得策です。
その他制限
このアイテムを使って自陣営にポータルを変えてもAPやメダルスコアの加算はありません。ということでレベリングに使うというよりも、戦略的にひっくり返したいポータルで硬くて壊せない、または手持ちのWeaponが少ない時に使うことが多いです。
また、直近に追加された仕様で、一度ADA Refactor/JARVIS Virusで転換されたポータルは「免疫を持ち」、１時間は別のウィルスで転換できなくなっています。この場合は使ったウィルスは無駄になくなりますので要注意。
